Meeting the Greats!

Emily and Daddy waiting...
Saturday we went to Indianapolis to Josh's Great Aunt Donna's house. Josh's Grandma Linda and her husband John were coming into town for lunch. We decided to drive up and suprise them since they hadn't met Emily yet. We made it all the way there, and after I got us lost, we still beat them there. Josh had to spoil the suprise though! He texted his Grandma (yes, she can text!) and told her we were waiting on them! Josh's Great Grandma Bernice was also with them.

After we visited for a while, we went to lunch at Texas Roadhouse. It was so nice to visit with so much of Josh's family. We don't get to see many of them very often since most of them live in Kansas. When we got to the restaurant, Josh's Great Grandma was telling everyone she was a Great Great Grandma. It was so sweet. She was so happy to meet Emily.

After dinner we just hung out at Donna's house for a few hours. She had made dump cake for desert! My Favorite!!!! Everyone knows Josh likes to tear things up, so she couldn't let a good opportunity pass her by!!!! She ahd the guys go out and tear out a tree and several bushes she needed removed. Josh enjoyed every minute of it!

Emily was so tired by the end of the day. It was a big day for her! She got to meet so much of her family for the first time, and even though I know she won't remember it, it is nice to have memories to let her know just how loved she is and how special she is to so many people.
