I'm Getting Antsy!!!!!!

37 weeks and counting! I've always been told no news is good news, but I have to disagree in this case! I am very ready for Emily's arrival! We have her room ready and plan to put the cradle in our bedroom this week. I have my hospital bag packed and the house is almost free of Christmas stuff and clean. I really think we have everything ready...but we still have to wait. I think this is the hardest part! Sitting around waiting. Wondering who she will look like, who's nose will she have, if she'll have Josh's dark hair (probably), or my blue eyes (fat chance!).
The doctor is very pleased with how things are progressing and told me if conditions are right next visit (which of course, is Monday!) that I can schedule to be induced. I don't think we are going to do that though. We want to give her to come when she is ready. I'll give her until 40 weeks and then maybe we'll induce! I am ready to do it now, but I know it is best for her to stay as long as she needs to. So either way we go, Miss Emily will be here in the next 3 weeks!!!
Cagney loves being in Emily's room
Pudge is going to protect her when she gets here :)

Blankets and more blankets! What to do with it all

Emily has lots of stuffed animals that I am sure Pudge would LOVE to chew on!
Daddy made her letters...

Lauren made sure we had PLENTY of things to hang on her wall!

Emily's shower was on November 15 at our home. It was a bit overwhelming! There were close to 50 people there. Everything was wonderful! My Aunt Mona and Dawn did a wonderful job arranging everything and the food was excellent! We got so much stuff I am still not sure what we are going to do with it all. One thing is for sure, Emily may never have to wear the same outfit twice in the first 6 months of her life! We got so many cute outfits I don't even know where to start! I am so thankful that I got to celebrate this wonderful addition to our lives with so many friends and family. Thank you to everyone who was there, whether in person or in our hearts.

Emily's Room

Poor Josh! He has done so much in Emily's room he may never hang anything else on the walls for me again! These are pictures from before the shower when we got the furniture in. Now the room looks like a baby store exploded in there!

Were Almost There!

We have made it to week 36! Things are going well and we are ready to meet Emily. I have decided to create this page to keep everybody updated and to post MANY pictures once she arrives. There are so many of you that I wish could be here, and this way everyone can watch her grow! It won't be long now!
This picture was taken at a Christmas party December 14th. I feel like a (insert any word for a large object)!
